After becoming involved in the July 1944 plot to kill Adolf Hitler, SS Colonel Helmut von Schraeder blackmails an SS doctor to perform plastic surgery, allowing von Schrader to assume the identity of a Jewish man named Benjamin Grossman.

Now living in Israel, Benjamin Grossman's family is put in danger when his past as an SS officer catches up to him. Meanwhile, his son discovers Grossman's true identity.
