Summary
The plot is about the story of Amada María Otero Rosas, an attractive, efficient woman who boasts of having a perfect marriage with her husband Leonardo Guáqueta. Although Amada's other self, called Miranda, present in many scenes in the soap opera, yells at her that Leonardo is a liar and unfaithful, she believes his apologies to justify his faults. When Amada and Leonardo are married for six years, Linda Arbeláez, Leonardo's lover, begins to pressure him to leave his wife.
